That's because TinMan isn't the story of the Wizard of Oz. In fact, Dorothy is _LONG_ dead. It takes place in Oz-- which is refferred to as the O.Z. or Outer Zone-- but it's a whole new cast of characters who are simply taking the place of the story's stereotypes. And again, Personally, I loved it. My little sister even loved it and she's not even a fan of fantasy or science fiction. ^__^
So again, if you go into it expecting the Wizard of Oz, than you're likely going to be disappointed. Because it is it's own story.
I would recommend it if you have a chance. If for no other reason than to be able to make your own judgement about it. ^_^()
What a beautiful, summery image to see during the bleak winter. The fairy is beautifully designed - I especially love how you made her bodice out of leaves! The field and bright sky is also painted in a very quaint, joyful style; the flowers being especially vibrant.
There is one thing that bothers me, however. There are no shadows to show where she actually interacts with the grass of the field. It makes her seem like she's just floating instead of touching down on the grass like we know she is.
But other than that, it's a beautiful work, as always!
