I always go crazy with that part and regret it while I'm painting it :)

Haha well personally I'm glad you do go a little crazy because it ends up looking so good. ;) but I see how having to color it would be crazy.

Her kimono is AMAZING! And the club and fan next to each other on the ground is a great detail too. :-)

It's really beautiful! I like their closeness, as panda-mist said, it's not the usual display of demons. =)
And I like a lot your rcolours - I'm amazed you could do a complex colouring with traditional media. The soft bg, the detailed clothes of the kitsune, great job on it!

Most digital techniques were based on traditional media somewhere along the line. It can be a bit hard to get the flat colors to emulate wood block prints. I used a lot of masking on the flowers and kimono.

I see, it's flawless job on it! And it's inspiring too. I would like to learn watercolours but I'm rather clumsy with it yet. But what you do is really an inspiration to strive for more.
Thanks for answering. ^^
