Sort of based on the novel by Friedrich Heinrich Karl La Motte Fouqué and other myths. I just hadn't quite finished reading it yet. There is a part where she is on an island in the middle of a stream and the water has risen so high no one can get through it.

This drawing brings both the land and sea into one drawing. The girl looks like she is almost torn between them, but still is balenced. Amazing!

Beautiful. I like how you tied the textures of the water, the fabric of her dress, and the tree bark together as if everything were flowing as one unit. I can hear the rushing water and the wind :D
